Each summer the TSB Festival of Lights transforms Pukekura Park, one of New Zealand's premier botanical gardens, into a magical illuminated night-time wonderland of multi-coloured lights gleaming amongst the trees, attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year.
Come and be wowed by the live night-time entertainment from national and international performers, stunning lighting features, a fantastic mix of daytime activities for children and families, twilight movies in the park and pop-up performance features.
A near record 30,000 people have attended New Plymouth's TSB Festival of Lights.
The massively popular event has been helped by a run of relatively fine weather that has seen thousands of people streaming in each night for the free gigs and light shows.
In a written statement New Plymouth District Council's recreation and culture manager Teresa Turner said a new New Year's Eve event had helped pump up attendance figures.
