Miami Lantern Light festival / Dinosaur Park
The Miami Lantern Light Festival is a six-week celebration of Chinese culture featuring massive lanterns, inspiring performances, and incredible cuisine.
The festival is laid out on 15 acres of space. These hand-crafted masterpieces can stand up to 30 feet high and 300 feet long. Two of the highlights are a 400-foot-long dragon and a lit up panda.
The lantern show features different lantern themes such as animals and sea life, holiday traditions, and Florida’s sun and beach. Each Chinese lantern is custom-built by Chinese artisans from Zigong Tengda Lantern Art & Culture typically taking about two months to complete.
The Lantern Light Festival opens on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2016 and be on display until Jan. 8, 2017 from 5 to 11 p.m.at the Miami Dade County Fair Expo Center,10901 SW 24th St., Miami, FL 33165.
